Mythlift Terms of Use
Terms for using the app and paid Premium access.
Version: 1.0. Publication and effective date: 2026-10-06.
These Terms set out the rules for using the Mythlift mobile app (the App) and for the sale and provision of access to the paid part of the App (Premium).
1. Who provides the service
- The service provider and content provider for Mythlift is Przemysław Jurek, conducting business under the name Przemysław Jurek, ul. Wileńska 15, lok. 87, 20-603 Lublin, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 7141952574, REGON 525521072 (the Provider). Purchases are made through Google Play. The party to the store transaction and its settlement terms are stated in the Google Play terms applicable in the country of purchase and the transaction confirmation. In the EEA, content is offered by Google Commerce Limited. This does not limit the Provider's responsibility for the Mythlift service.
- Contact for App matters, complaints and privacy: mythlift@przemekjurek.pl.
2. What the App is
- The App teaches general knowledge about strength training and nutrition. It consists of short questions, scenarios, spaced reviews, explanations that state the strength of the recommendation, the certainty of the evidence and the scientific sources, and a Mythopedia.
- The App is not a training log or a plan generator and gives no individual advice.
- The App contains no advertising, affiliate links or sponsored content.
3. Medical disclaimer
- Mythlift teaches general knowledge about training and nutrition. It does not replace advice from a doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian and is not intended for diagnosis.
- People who have pain, an injury, a medical condition or doubts should consult a professional.
- The App does not collect health data, and its content does not assess anyone's health.
- The Provider is not liable for training or nutrition decisions made solely on the basis of the App's content, to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
4. Age and technical requirements
- The App may be used by people aged 16 or over. On first launch we ask for confirmation of age. We do not collect dates of birth.
- The App runs on phones with Android 8.0 or later. Full learning works without an internet connection. Creating an account, syncing, purchases and content updates need a connection.
5. Account
- The App starts with an anonymous (guest) account. Progress can be saved by linking the account to a Google account or an email address (sign-in with a one-time 6-digit code).
- Without a saved account, uninstalling the App means losing progress.
- Buying Premium requires a saved account so that the purchase can be restored on another device.
- The account is for personal use. You must not share access to Premium beyond ordinary use of a single account, or circumvent the safeguards of the App and the services it relies on.
6. What is free
Free access to the following features has no fixed expiry date: the diagnostic with its report, the "What really builds muscle" module (M1) with its case, the lesson on pain and injuries (KC-M5-04), a module completion test for any module, reviews and probes of every concept that has a learning state, "The science has changed" cards, short explanations (W0 and W1), comments, labels, the list of sources and the reasoning behind labels, the Mythopedia, "Concepts learned", "Extra practice", profile and metrics, XP, streak, vacation and streak repair, badges, notifications, sharing, reports and offline mode.
Access without a fixed expiry date does not mean an unlimited number of new concepts in one day. Lessons introduce up to 2 new concepts per day at the normal pace or up to 4 in the fast mode selected in settings. A lesson is counted as a whole; if that lesson exceeds the daily limit on its own, it can be started when no new concepts have been introduced that day. The diagnostic and module completion tests do not count towards this limit. The daily memory-review queue includes up to 20 reviews; probes and "The science has changed" cards do not count towards that number. When more than 40 concepts are overdue, lessons introducing new concepts pause until the backlog decreases. These are learning-pace rules, not an expiry date for free access.
A signed-in account can refer the App using a random code. If a person without a previous account saves that code before creating and confirming a new account, the referrer receives free, one-time access to the lessons on rest between sets (KC-M2-04) and daily protein intake (KC-M5-01), including later reviews of these concepts. Access is permanent on that account; further referrals do not increase the reward. Self-referrals and signing in to an existing account do not qualify. The reward does not unlock full Premium access and does not change the learning pace: the daily limit of new concepts, set in the App, applies to all lessons, including Premium. Reward lessons can be started after the first lesson of the "What really builds muscle" module (M1). Deleting the referring account also deletes its reward.
7. Premium (pass)
- Premium is a supply of digital content for a fixed period. It unlocks: new lessons and cases in modules M2-M7 (except the free lesson KC-M5-04), including learning how to build a plan in M6 and exercise knowledge in M7, extended explanations (W2), source summaries, claim history, the "What could change this" section, weak-spot training and Checkpoint exams.
- Three products are available, sold only through Google Play:
- Premium: 12 months, price 99 PLN,
- Extension: updates and new modules, 12 months, price 39 PLN, available only to people who have had Premium and whose pass has expired or expires within 30 days,
- Founder pass: 36 months, price 129 PLN, available only for a limited time whose end date is shown in the App.
- Prices in other currencies follow the regional Google Play price lists. The price shown in Google Play at the time of purchase applies.
- Premium does not renew automatically. No product is a renewing subscription and we charge nothing further when the access period ends.
- The access period counts from purchase. A purchase during active access extends it by the length of the product rather than overwriting it. Example: access active until 2027-03-01 and an extension bought on 2027-02-10 gives access until 2028-03-01.
- During the access period the Provider delivers updates to the content covered by Premium, including corrections and new modules and lessons released as part of Premium. Release dates for new modules are a plan and not a commitment to a specific date. During the supply period we also provide updates needed to maintain the App's conformity with the contract, including security updates, and explain their availability and installation.
- The App tells you when access is about to end (30 and 7 days before), if notifications are on.
8. After Premium expires
- When the access period ends, new lessons and cases and the features listed in point 7.1 are locked. Learning is not blocked entirely.
- Everything in point 6 stays available, including reviews of every concept that had a learning state, also from modules M2-M7. The level earned and the learning state remain on the account.
- After a refund or revocation of a purchase, Premium content is locked and the learning state remains.
9. Payments, refunds and withdrawal
- Payments are handled by Google Play. The Provider does not receive or store card numbers or payment details.
- Refunds follow Google Play rules and go through that store. Active Premium access is not refunded automatically when an account is deleted. Store policies do not limit mandatory consumer rights. Complaints about Mythlift may also be submitted to the Provider.
- A consumer may withdraw from a contract within 14 days of concluding it, subject to statutory exceptions. For paid digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal is lost only when the statutory conditions are met: prior express consent to begin supply, acknowledgement of the loss of that right after being informed of it, and contract confirmation on a durable medium. Using the App or accepting these Terms alone does not replace these conditions. If the conditions have not been met, we do not treat the right of withdrawal as lost solely because use of Premium has begun. The store states the withdrawal rules for Google Play purchases, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
- A statement of withdrawal can be submitted in Google Play or sent to mythlift@przemekjurek.pl.
10. Conformity of digital content and complaints
- The Provider is liable for the conformity of the digital content with the contract as set out in consumer law, including the provisions implementing Directive (EU) 2019/770. For supply over a fixed period, liability covers the whole supply period.
- Complaints can be sent to mythlift@przemekjurek.pl with a description of the problem. The phone model and App version help identify the problem but are not required for a complaint to be accepted. We reply within 14 days.
- If the content or service does not conform to the contract, you may request that it be brought into conformity. Where the law provides, you may obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract. Consumer rights arising from mandatory law are not limited by these Terms.
11. Content, errors and changes in knowledge
- Content is developed using scientific sources. Explanations in the App include links to sources and labels for recommendation strength and evidence certainty. The meaning of the labels can be viewed in the App.
- Knowledge about training and nutrition changes. When a change matters, the App shows a "The science has changed" card to everyone affected by that concept, regardless of Premium.
- An error or doubt about content can be reported with the "I disagree" button. A report does not affect scoring or learning state.
12. Rights in the content
- The App and its content are protected by copyright. The Provider grants the user a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use while using the App.
- Without the Provider's consent, Premium content must not be copied, distributed or shared for profit or on a mass scale. Sharing myth cards through the built-in share function is allowed.
13. Personal data
The Privacy Policy describes how personal data is processed. The account and data can be deleted in the App (Settings > Privacy) and through the web page with account deletion instructions (Polish). A copy of your data as a JSON file can be downloaded in the App.
14. Changes to the Terms
- A material change to the Terms requires a new version of the document. On first launch after a change, the App shows a screen with links to the documents and asks for acceptance.
- Declining acceptance does not remove already paid Premium access: it can be used under the previously accepted terms until the access period ends. Another purchase requires acceptance of the current documents. Without active Premium access, declining pauses learning, while viewing the documents, data export and account deletion remain available.
- A change to the Terms does not alter the conditions of already purchased Premium access to the consumer's detriment as regards the access period and the scope of features.
15. Governing law and disputes
- The contract is governed by Polish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where the consumer usually lives.
- A consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms, including help from a county (city) consumer ombudsman and mediation or arbitration by the Trade Inspection.
- Disputes are decided by the court competent under general rules.
16. Final provisions
The Terms are available in the App and on the website in Polish and English. If the language versions differ, the Polish version prevails.
